I'm about to go on a terrible rant here, but will try to contain my UTTER HATRED of microsoft for the time being. I too, am attempting to deploy an Office product, Project 2010, trough SCCM to users who do not have admin privs on their machines. The deployment EVENTUALLY worked (don't get me started on the utter f'ing brain damage THAT took through SCCM), silently deploying Project 2010 to a machine, only to find that the user was prompted for activation and had to do so as an admin. I used a MAK key in the MDT for this deployment. After reading the string above, I'm convinced of a couple of things: A- Anyone who thinks Micorsoft has any clue is an idiot (I include myself here- but I'm getting much better) and B- clearly NOBODY has a very good, documented solution to solving this problem. There are too many options, there is apparently no right answer, there are too many options. There shoudl be one, easy to find, Microsoft proscribed SOLUTION to this problem. Wake the F up, Microsoft. F! F! F! F!!!!!!
